To keep Viessmann's 12,300 employees in touch with each other, Viessmann relies on Google Workspace services. Due to the large number of employees, the established group has to perform more administrative tasks in IT. "IT employees spend about 30 percent of their time answering service requests and on problem-solving tasks. This is the result of a survey conducted by the IT service provider Dimension Data together with the market research company IDC," according to the press release in the Austria Presse Agentur (APA) on said study. It goes on to say, "The results of the survey show that operational IT professionals have only 15 percent of their time available for the development of digital innovations – this corresponds to a decrease of 25 percent compared to the previous year."
